Magic links are one-time login links sent to your email -- click it and you're in. Passkeys use your device's built-in biometrics (Face ID, fingerprint, Windows Hello) to authenticate you securely without ever sharing that data with us. Both are more secure than traditional passwords because there's no password to steal, phish, or leak.

Discord has implemented age verification in certain regions and for certain features that may require users to submit a video selfie or a photo of their government-issued ID. This verification is processed by third-party vendors, which has raised significant privacy concerns among users.
